A plus 1 auto repair can be busy at times and for very good reasons they deserve more business for there amazing work I’ve been coming to this auto repair shop for about a year now and there just not many honest shop out there in NYC. I took my late father old Rav4 to there shop for a timing chain job, tensioner/belt replacement and importantly VVTI intake gear replacement because of a persistent cold start rattle. Using Toyota Technical Service Bulletin as a guide I brought the necessary OEM Toyota parts and gasket to them to do the job and they did excellent work. I’m very satisfied with their workmanship and totally grateful for their honest work.

A Plus 1 Auto Repair is hands down one of the best shops I’ve been to. Their pricing is fair and transparent, and the service is friendly and honest！Something that’s hard to find nowadays. They don’t upsell unnecessary work and actually take the time to explain what’s going on with your car. Compared to most repair shops, they’re on a completely different level in terms of professionalism and quality. Highly recommend if you’re looking for reliable and trustworthy service!

The mechanic provided excellent service; his inspection of the car's issues was thorough and precise. Furthermore, the pricing was very affordable and fair. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Herb and Michelle are the only two I’ve found in Florida that run a honest garage and at fair honest prices for their work. Go there before you even have an oil change. I was at sun Toyota for a oil change my service representative left me there to go to a meet and greet at his child’s school I waited so long even after they send me a film of what they say i need done on my 2017 Rav 4 which is a excellent car. I asked someone else for help they didn’t charge me the 100!bill for the oil change I asked for nothing I was there for a oil change nothing free. So I was told I needed 3200 plus work done I made an appointment went back for it left my car in 45 mins said my car was done. Had been told the work would be all day job red flag. They wanted to do alignment which I didn’t need said I had tire tread wear. I asked why did they not do the work Lou said I didn’t make appointment for it which I had with him another red flag. So I said I’ll call when I’m ready to do the work. Called Herb he said red flags after I told him my long story. Herb said he would check what they wanted to and he did said I didn’t need any of it done I’ll never return to Sun Toyota ever rip off dealership sad

Great service, very honest! They sold the shop. Jack will be there for a short time to help the new owners in transition. I called to see if they could do an inspection in the afternoon and they were very accommodating.
